Rob Dunstone

General manager

Rob has over 30 years’ experience in the petroleum industry. In addition to the overall management of the business he also provides technical support, ensuring that the team are delivering quality work, meeting customer expectations and adhering to all HSE requirements. He is also responsible for ensuring that the expectations of the shareholder are being met.

Hilary MacDonald

Project manager

Hilary has many years of project management experience in New Zealand and internationally, including delivering large-scale oil and gas field projects in the UK.

Hilary’s breadth of knowledge is an invaluable asset to Petrotec where she is involved in multiple projects of differing scale for our diverse clientele and customers.

Charles Porter

Project Manager

Charles is a results-driven Construction Project Manager with over eight years of experience delivering commercial and residential developments from planning through to handover.

He specialises in cross-functional team leadership, rigorous cost-control, maintaining strict safety and building code standards and enjoys delivering projects on time

Simon Collett

Service Division Manager

Simon leads Petrotec’s service team across New Zealand, working closely with technicians, customers, and the wider business to continually improve service delivery and support our customers’ operations.

Simon brings a strong combination of technical experience, and a practical, people-focused approach to his role at Petrotec.

Building in remote and challenging environments requires a level of technical precision that Petrotec has mastered. We’ve worked with them on complex installations across the Pacific, and their ability to solve logistical hurdles while maintaining strict safety standards is impressive. They are a professional, highly capable team that genuinely cares about the results.
